Our Story

Mile High Accessibility Consultants (MHAC) was founded in 2019, by key personnel from a well-known ADA consulting firm, to provide cost-effective ADA compliance consulting, using superior data collection and database development technology that is unsurpassed in the industry. This, combined with the extensive experience of MHAC staff, has resulted in an organization that excels at economical, client focused ADA compliance consulting.

Across the nation, MHAC staff has:

  1. Helped many state and local government entities comply with the ADA by developing comprehensive ADA Self-evaluations and Transition Plans.

  2. Completed ADA accessibility audits of over 1,000 facilities, totaling an excess of 25 million square feet of space.

  3. Performed over 1,000 ADA audits of parks and recreation facilities across the Nation.

  4. Performed Public Right-of-way Accessibility Guidelines audits on more than a thousand miles of public right-of-way.

  5. Developed ADA compliant policies, programs, and services for a multitude of cities and counties across the U.S.

 

MHAC has vast experience in all disability rights laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act and the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, the Proposed Guidelines for Pedestrian Facilities in the Public Right-of-Way (PROWAG), the Architectural Barriers Act Accessibility Standards (ABAAS), the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1), and Sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
